Biography

Murray Kingwell practices counselling and psychotherapy in Hamilton, Brantford, Mississauga and Etobicoke, under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Registered Psychological Associate who are members of the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

Murray Kingwell B.Th., M.T.S., has a long, rich background in counselling and pastoral ministry. He has a Masters in Theological Studies, with a Major in Counselling. Murray has also done extensive writing in the field of counselling, as well as authored a book for general audiences. As well, he has had counselling clinics in both Hamilton and London, Ontario. Murray was at one point the administrative counsellor for 100 Huntley Street’s counselling services. Murray has also worked with the Children’s Aid Society, and was a counsellor at Pine Hill training school. He currently has counselling offices in Etobicoke, Mississauga, Hamilton, and Brantford.

Family Life Ministries welcomed Murray for the first time in 2006 and, seeing the vital role he played as part of the ministry, he was recommended by the board to become the new Director. Murray hopes to bring a fresh perspective to this ministry, and is excited about teaching individuals, couples, and families about godly living and relationships. He has traveled across Canada doing seminars on marriage, and family issues.
