
Our counselors use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to guide our clients on a path to mental
health. CBT is a short term approach to counseling that focuses on
identifying what our thoughts and feelings are about the things we
experience in our lives. Although we can’t control what happens to
us, we do have some control about how we think and feel about it. If
we can change our thoughts, we can change our feelings and change our
mental health. CBT
is an evidenced based practice that has proven to be successful for dealing
with mental health issues such as:

- anxiety
- depression
- relationships
- eating disorders
- anger management
- grief
- low self-esteem
- post-traumatic stress disorder
- insomnia
- substance abuse
- many more areas that stress our minds.
